Sunshine for Trucks, Inc.
Pamela Robinson, Founder
Born and raised in Miami, Florida. Pamela Robinson worked 11 years for family and mental health based non profits, prior to becoming a professional truck driver. She attended Sherdian Technical Community School in South Florida to obtain her Class A license in 2018. A week after graduating from CDL School, Pamela was hired by Werner Enterprises, Inc. and later she went on to drive for Frozen Food Express, Inc. before purchasing her first truck in 2020. After coming to the trucking industry, Pamela sought what was lacking in the the industry. Ms. Robinson discovered that the over-the-road trainee drivers were unserved. She decided to create the change that she wanted to see and founded her non profit 501(c)(3), Sunshine for Truckers, Inc. Pamela’s passions are content creating, mental health awareness and preparing new drivers for the trucking industry.

ABOUT
Sunshine for Truckers, Inc. was founded to help qualified over-the-road trainee drivers find the road to success. The non-profits name was created by the founder, Pamela Robinson, who resides in the Sunshine State (Florida). Since becoming a truck driver in 2018, Pamela had heard and seen the horror stories of new drivers entering the industry being abandoned at truck stops by their trainers and/or companies, while not making enough money for food and/or a shower. Most drivers rely on their trainer to assist them with a shower and some cases meal. Some drivers come into the industry off of homelessness, prison, no education, domestic violence and more. It can be hard trying to survive on trainees pay and have to maintain bills at home. Due to lack of funds, trainees can find themselves surviving on small snacks for 4 to 6 weeks while training with a trainer.
Sunshine for Truckers, Inc.'s mission is to deliver sunshine to over the road trainee drivers who have found themselves in a cold world situation.
Sunshine for Truckers, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non- profit, donations are tax deductible to the extent of the law via CashApp $SunshineForTruckers and PayPal.
